ideal image

An ideal image is an inner image that is artificially constructed and therefore unreal.
Unhappiness and lack of self-confidence are here interconnected.

Although the ideal image has been developed to boost your lack of self-confidence, this is counterproductive in your life.

First, you can never respond to your ideal image, with the result that your self-confidence will become new dents.
Secondly, you give that a sense of guilt, because you know unconsciously that you are unreal. Shame arises because you pretend to be something you are not.

Because this process does not take place consciously, you always prove yourself again. You also need appreciation from others to boost your lack of self-confidence, which makes you very dependent and increases your self loss.

This creates a mask, an artificial personality that is built up and that holds the outside world as if it were the real you. Often you do not know this yourself anymore, because you also mix artificial emotions in it, to make your mask seem real. The ideal image governs this masquerade that you have to do better than you really are.

In addition, there is a continuous climate of criticism of yourself, it is never good or enough what you do and are, always more and better. This is difficult to bear, so you are going to blame the world or the other person. Then there is the disappointment that this system is not working and the shame about it. You do not want to become aware of that, because that is too intense until you find yourself in a situation where you succumb to this burden.

Ultimately, you have to continuously prove yourself and you can not be persevering, you get tired of it, sick, depressed, miserable. A personal crisis is usually based more on this than on external circumstances. Look at your ideal image in fear and depression, in the way that it tyrannises you.

So you have to solve the ideal image to find your real self, but often you will immediately encounter resistance, because your real self is not as perfect as your ideal image. However, perfection does not exist and the reality is that you are imperfect.
The best is to accept this reality, that you are as you are with all your imperfections, that gives peace and peace to yourself and gives you the space to get further into the reality of yourself.

Cosmic - and earth energy

                                         Cosmic and earth energy

As a human being you live on earth energy and cosmic energy.
There must be a balance between earth - and cosmic energy.
This happens because they get mixed in your core (in your belly)
Earth energy goes up from the earth and cosmic energy goes from top to bottem.
In human beings, the earth energy flows from the feet upwards and the cosmic energy goes down through the crown.
The backbone is the channel through which both energies flow.
The core contains the cosmic energy. The core captures this via the etheric body (a fine network)

Earth energy, which has a high voltage, then connects with the weak current of the cosmic energy.
Through the heat development that arises from this you get an "illumination", which is called aura.
This is a continuous proces of transformation, so that life is infinite growth and change.

The life stream is created from the connection of earth energy with cosmic energy. In other words, there is a positive (+) and a negative (-) energy, that connects. This creates a field af tension on earth, the electromagnetic field. This magnetic force binds us on earth.

In origin everything is cosmic energy.
Once there was TAO, an unimaginable completeness.
According to tradition, this total is divided into the largest and smallest parts, each of which carries the TAO.

Earth energy is transformed cosmic energy, very  long ago.
This energy has become heavier in the course of time; the effect of this is gravity.
The cosmic energy that comes to us must therefore be transformed over and over again, so life here on earth is to continue to grow and change.
The transformation takes place via earth energy.
If there are no proper transformations, blockades occur.
This causes illnesses.

Time

In the state of consciousness, time means that you experience reality as a succession in past - presence - future. You rush from the birth to the end.

You often notice that in the present you usually living in the past, or you are eager to play with the future (how would it be if..., how is it going to be)

By sticking in the past, of being in the future, you flee the present, in this way you do not live in the reality of the here and now of yourself.
This creates a split in yourself.
This is actually an illusion of a self - created reality.
From there you view the world around you and you react to the events that happen to you. And in those events you also have the hand, because you evoke it from your own world in which you live. You pull them like a magnet towards you.

Living in that self - created reality you meet another who lives in his own self - created world, with his desires, convictions and images about how the world works, or how the other should be. When you meet each other, you don not know how the reality of the other person actually is, because you do not know it about yourself, which leads to misunderstandings.

If time is an illusion, a product of your own creative mind, then what is reality?
I think, that if you are in completely truth with yourself (however imperfect), you can be in the here and now and you can experience that the future is an extension of the Now, an experience of timelessness.
In this way you can meditate to the conciousness of an absolute reality which you are in essence part of it.

Imaging timelessness when you let go of the lineair principle and embracing endlessness in high, depth and width.
If for example you take a second and bounce one second in succession, not only consecutively but also in high, depth and width, then there is no more time, but space and endlessness, an All - Time.

From science there are also discoveries that time is not a fixed thing and is not real. Literally it has been observed that the time will run slower if we (spacecraft) leave the earth (time dilation).
Einstein has demonstrated with his theory of relativity that time and space are relative.

Through consciousness expansion in meditation we can come apart from time.
In this way we don't have to be trapped in time for ever with the consequence of reincarnating again and again in a timestream of illusionary reality.
To come apart from time, being well grounded in the time dimension wherein you live is also important. Only then you can take a conscious step towards the transition to another dimension.

Metaphors and symbols

Metaphors generally operate on an unconscious level, in the space between conscious and unconscious processes and contain the essence of personal experience.

If you pay attention to it, you get deeper into your level of experience: the way you think, the patterns that control your life, in fact how you shape your world.

The questions in the coaching are done in the present tense to bring the metaphors to life.
The basis is that everyone already has his own wisdom.

Metaphors can be verbal and non-verbal.
You can make the process of the metaphor landscape literally visible by depicting it in space or in a drawing.

A metaphor points to the underlying structure of your thinking and behavioral patterns.
By asking the right questions, focused on the unfolding process of symbolism, the inner landscape becomes alive and you learn to know yourself better, the inner world from which you think and act.

A metaphor expresses what you can not express with words, but expresses exactly what happens to your inner self.
A metaphor often comes after:
"It is as if .... It is equal to .... It brings me into a state of ... .. like ....

If the metaphorical landscape starts to change, your view of the world and your actions will change to the outside world as well. For example, someone who sees his work as a struggle of winning or losing can change in someone who will see his work as a symphony orchestra with which he participates as a member.

Metaphors can give more insight, but can also keep things out of sight. They can give you strength or weaken you. To help improve vision, you can work with the symbols that give a metaphor shape.
Symbols are always nouns.
You isolate certain symbol words in a sentence and with questions you give these words attributes, such as a color, a shape, a name, a place, which function and you ask how the relationship between the symbols are. The symbols then develop and a metaphor landscape automatically arises.

Important in working in a metaphorical landscape is asking:

"What would you like to have in your life." Even if someone with a problem comes, first ask for the desired outcome.
If you do not do this, you can get stuck in a problem.

Knowing what someone wants to achieve gives you a grip, a line to stick to and return to. Because if you are working on the desired outcome, the obstacles that are hindering work will automatically emerge.

Your inner child

As a child you are programmed from the start by your upbringing, because you are totally open and dependent on security, love and physical nourishment.

As an adult you bear this child with you, which is reflected in the dependency for appreciation and confirmation by the outside world.

In this child you are still dependent, insecure, helpless and frightened.
As an adult you close this child off, but becomes emotionally visible in your attitude and reactions, especially when you are under pressure. The fulfilment what painstakingly is required can only be achieved when you stop looking for help from the outside world and are going to look for fulfilment inside yourself.

It means that you take responsibility and gain insight into your child's emotions and reactions instead of projecting them onto the world and others to blame. The state where you are in, here and now, is a reliable measure how inwardly you stand for. What comes to you from the outside world you could see as a mirror of yourself, where you could learn from.

Such programming is a form of hypnosis. In the first four years of life, the most basic strategies are formed. From here emotional conclusions are formed and  inner images are recorded. Such an inner image influence your life without realizing it. You interpret your life again and again as you've experienced in your childhood.
The programming which is reflected in your thinking pattern is difficult to see through your mind, as your mind, trying to understand things, is as fragmented as the reality that occurs to you.

This programming is not only due to the indoctrination of your childhood, but also by your own genes - predestination. You took all the karmic past by birth to attracted the parents you need to activate your karmic material. It is important that you recognize this and acknowledge it. This is the task you have taken on in your life. Many people don't know this and put the importance of their life on the outside world where they want to succeed.

By becoming aware of your programming you may go de - hypnotizing; this involves your outdated  children's images, which you still identify yourself. We think that we are guided by our logical mind, but if we look consciously into our daily routines, emotional reactions and recurring problems, we see how our subconscious programs from our childhood always define us again. So we constantly repeat our past.

It is important to approach the child in you with love and understanding. For the child in you is full of feelings, it comes back in your dreams, your fantasies, also when you are sick or depressed.
It is not a question that you have to be perfect. You are already perfect if you are facing today imperfection and acknowledge it and try to come to terms.

The child in you has great strength and is actually the child in you that wants to be born again and really brought to life within yourself. Because the child is also magical, creative, playful and full of energy. If you could free your fear and anger, the child in full freedom and happiness will fill your personality.

Mirror neurons and Imagination

The presence of mirror neurons in the brain was discovered by Giacomo Rizzolatti, Vittorio Gallese and Leonardo Fogassi of the University of Parma.
Mid-1990s these neuroscientists explored which brain cells are activated when a monkey used his hands. To their surprise the neurons in the pre- motor cortex of the macaque not only fired when the animal picked up a peanut, but they also lit up when he saw one of the researchers doing the same!

The investigation into this resonant neurons moved quickly to human brains.
MRI scans and EEG' s showed that our brain reacts when we see other people's actions. Mirror neurons are neurons that are active when you observe what anybody else does.
This is done at the same place in the brain as the person who performs the action. When we see how someone strikes with a hammer on his finger, we react instinctively with our own hands. Seeing images have the same impact as if the same thing happens to you.

Through Imagination you can make your inner images conscious. With guided imagery or imagination exercises you can give your brain an incentive to generate inner images. Mental images provide access to deeper sources within yourself. In this way you get to know yourself better and you develop your brains where mirror neurons are active.
Mirror neurons do more than just mirror. Besides imitating other people's behaviour, they also help to adjust behaviour.

It is precisely this lack of adequate responses to other people's behaviour which is most noticeable in people with autism. Empathy - the ability to move into the world of another person has to do with the action of mirror neurons. This is developed through contact with other human beings.
Autistic's have this feature less developed.Even borderline, narcissism and other personality disorders have already been linked to a dysfunctional mirror system.

When we look at another person, we seldom escape from the tendency to imitate the other person. When we see someone smile, we automatically smile back. By imitation you can better feel what the other feels. Imitation has an effect on your own emotions. If you like eye contact, people noticed that you feel interest in them. The same for you when someone reacts emotionally you can better empathize.

Visual experiences are not necessarily required for the development and functioning of the mirror neurons. In blind subjects were mirror activity in the same areas of the brain as subjects who had both sound and image.
When blind people hear the activities of others, they use the same network and parts of the brain as sighted people use. The use of the visual part of the brain for non- visual recognition for the blind shows that there no visual experience or visual images are needed in order to form an image

Inner images

Unconscious images exert a powerful influence on your life.
These images are linked to emotions and wrong conclusions formed in childhood and which have not grown with the personality that has matured. This unconscious influence hinders the growth of your total being.

An infant, a very small child, knows only the primitive emotions of good or bad. If it gets his way the child experiences love and joy. If not, the child experiences sadness and anger.
From this child emotions are drawn general conclusions about how life is.
These emotions and conclusions sink into the unconscious and later denied and repressed. This is called an image.

You grown up together with this still immature emotional layer, what creates shame, guilt and fear in life. However being an adult, subconsciously you are still emotionally reacting like a child.
The tragic of these images is that they have power over you and make sure that the events in your life confirm your unconscious conclusions.
While you have conscious desires and goals in your life, these images cause conflicts and negative attitudes. The less you are aware of that emotional layer, the stronger the effects are. Instead of reaching your desired goals, you encounter blockade and problems and you don 't know why, what makes you desperate.

You could check in your life how events keep repeating themselves, which always lead to a vicious circle you can't get out. Fulfilment is constantly unable, it seems that the world, fate works against you, while your inner images create all this for you.
When you can make the link to your childhood, you'll see and feel this emotional layer and false conclusions you made in your childhood. In that time it was certainly your survival, but as a grown up adult this is working against you.

It is therefore important that these inner images become aware, because only what is coming to light can grow. Than you'll find also your hidden possibilities and power, your inner resource, which can help resolve your inner conflicts, so that you finally find your real self.
